Curling has always been at the centre of the Club's sporting activities in the winter months. Whether with the family, with friends or as part of a Christmas celebration, our members are welcome to enjoy curling free of charge Tuesday to Saturday between 12 noon and 9.00 pm. The good news is that the playing surface is man-made, which means that play is possible even when the temperature rises above freezing.
Please take care when curling, so that the playing sheet is not damaged. That means placing the curling stone flat on the sheet without an inrun; and be careful not to drop or throw it. Please understand that we cannot allow children under the age of 14 to use the curling sheet except when accompanied by an adult.
Please reserve your curling sheet by 3.00 pm on the day before you wish to play by calling the gate-house (T 030. 30 67 22-14). Should there be no reply, please call the Club secretary's office and we will be pleased to assist.
