Talk of the Ambassador of the Republic of Pakistan

We are pleased to now be able to hold the event originally scheduled for May 7 on Thursday, June 4. The current international situation and the resulting consequences for the global economy could hardly be more serious. All parameters are shifting, and it seems as though in the “Year of the Fire Horse 2026,” exactly what already led to considerable upheavals 60 years ago is repeating itself. Unlike back then, however, the current conflict in the Middle East carries within it the danger of a new world war. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan, long closely connected with Germany and currently the hope that confrontations will decrease rather than increase, has become the key place for dialogue and hope for a lasting peace. Expectations for the talks taking place behind the scenes, largely without European participation, are high.
We are therefore pleased, on this occasion, to welcome
H.E. Ms. Saqlain Syedah,
Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Germany,
following her recent return from Islamabad, for a lecture on the current situation, her assessment, and the general expectations.

Information Evening Circle with Thomas Clark "Money"

Money is said to make people happy. Or unhappy. It is often a source of motivation. But also the cause of many conflicts – at home, with the boss, with business partners. Money, its purpose, its value, and how we deal with it are the topic of this ICB Circle. At a time when it is unclear how and to what extent our economic system can continue to exist, when people – both poor and rich – are increasingly experiencing financial stress and money no longer provides the familiar sense of security, we want to exchange thoughts: What does this mean for us? For me? For my loved ones? There will be space for sharing through speaking and listening in groups of three. This time as well, the Circle will begin with a short meditation and check-in round. Our club member Thomas Clark will lead the Circle – and looks forward to participants who want to get to know other members better this way. Through mindfulness and time discipline, care will be taken to ensure that everyone has a chance to speak, while also keeping things from going on too long. The Circle itself lasts 90 minutes, followed by a relaxed get-together. Please arrive on time!

BERLIN PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA - End of season Concert

This year, the Berliner Philharmoniker will also conclude the season with their final concert on what is probably the most beautiful open-air stage in Europe. This absolute highlight of the concert summer is already almost sold out, but we have once again been able to reserve 30 tickets for the best seats for our members.

Viva Italia! In their season-closing concert, the Berlin Philharmonic and Kirill Petrenko transform the Waldbühne into a piece of Italy. Star guest Jonas Kaufmann, who sang his way to the top of the world with his warm, powerful tenor, interprets some of the most beautiful arias from Italian operas and lets us dream of the south under Berlin’s night sky full of stars. With Respighi’s richly colored tone poems *Pines of Rome* and *Fountains of Rome*, we wander through the Eternal City—from the pines of the Villa Borghese to the sparkling Trevi Fountain.

Ticket price:EUR 110.00 for members

The ticket price for non-members is 130.00 EUR.
