Guides Tour Palais Populaire - ESCRIBIR TODOS SUS NOMBRES
We have an exclusive guided tour of a special exhibition in our program for our club members in February: "ESCRIBIR TODOS SUS NOMBRES - Spanish Women Artists from 1960 to Today" - an exhibition of various works from the collection of the Museo Helga de Alvear documents an exciting and little-known chapter of Spanish contemporary art. It is a testament to Spain's checkered political history and its impact on the country's women artists.
Don't miss the chance to experience this unique exhibition together under expert guidance. The tour will be held in German.
Costs: 15,00 EUR per person
We ask for binding registration until February 06, 2023. A cancellation free of charge is possible until February 07, 2023.

Let's Have a Chat
Every 3rd Thursday of the month, our long-time club member Janet Berridge offers anyone interested the opportunity to chat in English in a relaxed atmosphere. Anyone who wants to brush up on their English language skills a bit is welcome. This is not a class, but an opportunity to converse in English with other club members.
The number of participants is limited to 10. We ask for prior registration via the website.

Ladies Only - Lecture: Women in the Islamic World
The Arab world is in a state of upheaval and is changing rapidly. These changes are hardly noticed in our country.
Our club member, Dr Maria Teresa Börner, will focus her lecture this evening on women in Islamic society. She will first present the religious foundations and traditions as well as the origins, and then conclude with perspectives for the future.
Detailsarttrade - Investment in art redefined
Art is considered a lucrative and one of the safest asset classes in the world. However, small investors rarely have the opportunity to invest in so-called blue chip art, which are outstanding works by well-known artists. The Düsseldorf-based start-up arttrade wants to change this and try to democratize the market.
We are very pleased to welcome one of the founders of arttrade to the International Club Berlin this evening, who will present the new way of investing in art.
Guests are welcome to attend this event.
One Night at the Club - "Open Bar"
During the dark season, Club members meet on the last Friday of each month for a cosy get-together in the Officers' Bar.
Guests are very welcome.
KPM Berlin - DIY WORKSHOP FOR KIDS
We would also like to offer our young club members a shared experience outside the club itself and are delighted to be able to offer an exclusive hands-on workshop for children from the age of 6 up to a maximum of 17.
Together, we will get a whiff of the manufactory air and release the spirit of discovery when the children themselves lend a hand in the Royal Porcelain Manufactory's hands-on workshop and produce a small porcelain marvel. This can then be picked up at the club after about 6 weeks and taken home.
The children will be met by us on site and can be picked up again at the end of the workshop (duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes).
Cost per child: 29,00 EUR
Participation is limited to a maximum of 16 children. Registrations must be made by February 14th, 2023. A cancellation free of charge is also only possible until February 14, 2023. After that we charge the full price per child.
Meet the Press - Escaping the China Trap?
Everyone is looking at the war in Ukraine and the indirect conflict with Russia. But the much greater danger, especially for Germany, may be lurking in a conflict with China that is becoming increasingly apparent.
The journalist and former TAZ correspondent in China, Felix Lee, will report on his trip to Taiwan on February 26 at the ICB, from which he will then be freshly back.
In conversation with Thomas Kausch and guests on Meet the Press, the question will be whether we can become independent of China without destroying our economy. As always, Sundays at noon.
Registration deadline is February 24th, 2023
