On September 28th, 2024 we will celebrate our traditional end-of-season sports event from 5.00 p.m. .

It is completely irrelevant whether you have actively participated in competitions as a tennis player or golfer or how many kilometres you have covered in the pool. Just join us as we bring the summer sports season to a close together in convivial company on this day.

After we have honored the winners of the club championships in golf & tennis, our kitchen crew will spoil you with a delicious BBQ buffet.

The price includes the BBQ buffet and the welcome drink.

In this interactive lecture, Wolf-Dietrich Groß will show you how to break through the compulsion to say YES. Exhibition: Frans Hals - Master of the Fleeting Moment

Join Petra Jucho on September 25 at 4:30 p.m. for an exciting guided tour of this impressive exhibition together with an expert.

In 2024, Berlin will celebrate one of the greatest portrait painters of all time: along with Rembrandt and Vermeer, Frans Hals ranks among the most outstanding Dutch painters of the 17th century. In addition to unconventional, expressive portraits of the Haarlem elite, he was the first artist in Holland to paint social outsiders as individuals in portrait format. With his extraordinarily relaxed and free style, this painter from Haarlem helped to inspire the Modernist painting like no other artist of his time. In cooperation with the National Gallery, London, and the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, the Gemäldegalerie is organizing a comprehensive monographic exhibition featuring some 75 works.

The exhibition is open until 6.00 pm on this day, so that it can be viewed individually afterwards.

Exclusive excursion to the Schwante Castle Sculpture Park

Experience an extraordinary day at the Sculpture Park Schloss Schwante! On the initiative of our club member Dr. Loretta Würtenberger, we cordially invite you to take part in a special guided tour of the sculpture park on Sunday, September 22, 2024. This exclusive tour will be led by Marcus Boxler and will offer you fascinating insights into the exhibition celebrating the 5th anniversary of Schlossgut Schwante.

• 12:30 p.m. - Lunch
  Enjoy a delicious lunch with quiches, hearty boulettes and potato salad.
• 13:30 - Exclusive special guided tour of the sculpture park. Marcus Boxler, renowned curator and art educator, will guide you through the sculpture park and introduce you to the latest sculptures and the innovative "breathing" exhibition concept. You can look forward to exciting anecdotes and background stories that bring the works of art to life.
• 15:00 - Coffee & cake: Round off the afternoon with a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.

Cost:

ICB SammlerUsinger Golf Cup 2024 (4th day)

On the final day of the Golf Cup, we additionally hold the ICB Golf Club Championships. During these championships, both gross and net points will be combined. This means that not only one's own performance on the day relative to one's handicap is relevant, but also the actual playing strength.

Anyone can register for the Club Championships independently of participating in the Golf Cup.

We would like to cordially invite you to our next members' commission meeting. During this meeting, we aim to discuss key topics of our club and develop solutions together.

Following the launch of our commission to raise the Club's profile last year, we would now like to follow up on this format. Together, we want to look back on what has been achieved so far and at the same time identify and work on further optimization potential with our members.

The "Waldbühnen"-Conzert of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra

The concert of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, conducted by star conductor Daniel Barenboim, promises to be another highlight of this summer's concert season. As the evening's soloist, the exceptional violinist Ann-Sophie Mutter will perform the solo part in Johannes Brahms' magnificent Violin Concerto. She herself is now an honorary member of the orchestra.

In the second part, Schubert's great C major symphony is on the program.

Enjoy a cozy evening with other club members in one of Europe's most beautiful open-air stages.

For this concert, our members again have access to seats in the best seating area.

 
Concert starts at 7pm, admission will be granted from two hours before the event.

On this day, we open the pool from 16:00-18:00 for all bathing ducks, flamingos, unicorns and other floating animals to splash around with to their heart's content. Our restaurant team is looking forward to spoiling you with delicious tarte flambée on this day. We ask you to book in advance if you would like to eat on the terrace during or after the event so that we can plan ahead.

EURO-Final at International Club Berlin

We eagerly awaited the European Championship final in Berlin this Sunday, July 14th at 9:00 PM.

On this evening, Spain and England will meet in the ultimate showdown.

We will be broadcasting this special match for our members in our Orangerie and would be delighted if you could cheer on your favorite team in company.

Come along, enjoy the exciting game and let the Literaturcafé provide you with food and drinks so that you can concentrate fully on the football highlight of the year.

BERLIN PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA - Season-Closing Concert

This year, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra is celebrating its 40th anniversary with their closing concert on arguably the most beautiful open-air stage in Europe. Under the direction of Kirill Petrenko, the Philharmonic concludes their season this year with the ecstatic "Boléro" by Maurice Ravel, following a performance by the renowned pianist Yuja Wang featuring a work by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

We were able to reserve tickets in the best seating area for our members. The number of tickets is limited to 25.

The concert starts at 8:15 PM, and admission will be granted from 6:00 PM.

Ticket price: €109.00 for members.

Please note that priority for ticket allocation is given to club members. From May 2, 2024, any remaining tickets will also be allocated to the companions of members. The ticket price for non-members is €119.

Exhibition - Modigliani. Modern Gazes

Experience the fascinating world of Amedeo Modigliani in the exhibition ‘Modigliani. Modern Views’ on an exclusive guided tour on 20 June 2024 at the Museum Barberini. This impressive retrospective, the first in Germany for fifteen years, shows Modigliani's famous portraits and nudes, which characterise his unmistakable style with almond-shaped, unblinking eyes, and sheds light on his view of the emancipated, modern woman.

The exhibition is open until 7.00 pm on this day, so that it can be viewed individually afterwards.

2024 ICB Oldtimer Rally

After the great success last year, we are eagerly looking forward to organizing another joint outing with all vintage car enthusiasts to a special location in the vicinity of Berlin. The destination will, as always, remain a secret.

The entry fee includes the following services:

• Participation in the rally
• Specially crafted roadbook & quiz
• Small welcome breakfast in the morning with fresh coffee and tea at the International Club Berlin
• Snack bag for the journey
• 2-course lunch at the destination, including a soft drink
• Award ceremony with a glass of sparkling wine and canapés at the International Club Berlin

Exhibition - Caspar David Friedrich.Infinite Landscapes

On the occasion of the 250th birthday of Caspar David Friedrich, the Alte Nationalgalerie is presenting a major exhibition of his work for the first time, featuring approximately 60 paintings and 50 drawings from the artist from both domestic and international sources.

If you have a museum pass entitling you to free admission, please inform us directly upon registration. The price will be reduced accordingly by the admission fee of €12.00.

Season Opening 2024

We start the new season together and reopen the club grounds for all outdoor sporting activities. We are very much looking forward to welcoming all members, those who may soon become members, friends and guests to the International Club Berlin for this occasion from noon onwards with live music, good food and hopefully the best weather.

With our Rolf Budde Memorial Cup, we will open the season in sporting terms already in the morning and commemorate our former and very committed club member who unfortunately passed away far too early (please register via separate event pre-registration).

And of course, the children have been catered for and can once again play and romp around on the sunbathing lawn.

Prior registration is mandatory for participation.
